How to set it up
- Say what it's forPut who the gift is for, the idea, and the share per person in the description.
- Say how to payPut how to send money in the description. The sheet doesn't take payments.
- Send the linkShare it with everyone who's been asked, but not with the person it's for.
- Track who's paidAsk people to say in their note once they've paid. Your private link shows every note.
What helps
- Name a fixed share, like $10, so nobody has to guess what's right.
- Turn on “Hide other people's names” if the person the gift is for might see the link.
- Raise “Chipping in” if more people want to join.
- Close it a few days before you need to buy, so you know the total.

Copy it into a text, an email or the group chat, change what you like, and paste your link at the end.
Questions people ask
- Can people pay through the sheet?
- No. It keeps track of who's in. Put how to pay in the description, and ask people to note when they've paid.
- Can I keep it secret from the person it's for?
- Only people with the link can see it, so don't send it to them. Turn on “Hide other people's names” for extra care.
- Who sees who's paid?
- Only you and anybody helping you run the page. Notes are shown on your private link, not on the page.
