What if a driver can't make their morning?

They cancel from the link in their confirmation email, or on the same phone they signed up on, and the morning opens up again. If you left your email, you'll see it in that evening's 6 pm summary.

Can we add afternoon pickups?

Yes. Add rows with the afternoon times before you make it, or make a second sheet for pickups so mornings and afternoons stay easy to read.

How to set it up

Set the morningsIt starts with every school morning for two weeks, one driver each. Change the time to when you leave, and add rows for afternoons if you share pickups too.
Keep the details off the pageAnyone with the link can see the sheet, so share addresses and the children's names among the drivers, not on the page.
Send the linkShare it with the other drivers. Nobody needs an account, and each driver who leaves an email gets their mornings in their calendar.
Plan the next two weeksThe mornings are dated, so start a new sheet from this template for the next two weeks, and share the new link.

What helps

Agree on a fair split before you share it, like one morning a week each, and say so in the description.
Turn on “Hide other people's names” if you'd rather drivers only saw which mornings are taken.
If a driver gets sick, they can cancel from their own link, and the morning shows as open for somebody else to take.
“Tell people something” on your private link emails every driver at once, which is quicker than a round of texts when the school day changes.
