What else Whenabouts does

  • A ranked list of the best times, each naming whoever can't make it, and a way to see the results without one person.
  • Polls about days of the week as well as dates, for finding a regular weekly time.
  • Lock in a time and everyone who left an email gets it with a calendar file.
  • RSVPs with guest counts and a reminder the day before, from the same place.
  • Pages for a school, a youth team or a faith group keep to adults' names and load nothing from anybody else's site.
  • Every page works with JavaScript switched off, and the grid works with a keyboard.

When Doodle might suit you better

  • You'd like people to book time from your own calendar, with your free times read from it. Doodle's booking pages do that, and a Whenabouts sheet of times doesn't.
  • You want video call links added for you. Doodle's free plan connects Zoom and Google Meet.
  • You collect payments when people book. Doodle's free plan includes payments through Stripe.
  • Your team already pays for Doodle and is used to it.

Questions people ask

Is Whenabouts really free?
Yes. Free has no time limit and no card to enter. A free page takes up to 200 responses, and a sign-up sheet up to 200 rows. A free page that nobody has answered for 12 months is deleted, with a warning first. Paid plans raise those limits and add reminders on a day you pick.
Can I move my Doodle polls over?
There's no import. Making a new poll takes a minute: a title, your name, the days and the hours.
Do the people I invite need an account?
No. They open the link, mark the times they're free, type a name and save. An email is optional, and brings a link to change their answer and the final time when you lock it in.
