What helps
- Put the trail, the distance and the meeting point in the description, so people know what they're agreeing to.
- Pick a rain date at the same time, and say so in the message when you lock it in.
- Four-hour blocks are enough. Nobody needs to say they're free at 9:30 on a Sunday.
- Carpooling? Make a sign-up sheet for seats once the day is set.

Questions people ask
- Can I offer only weekends?
- Yes. With JavaScript on, pick the Saturdays and Sundays on the calendar. Without it, the form makes a run of days in a row.
- Why three blocks a day?
- Because for a hike you only need to know morning, afternoon or evening. It keeps the poll quick.
- What happens when I lock in a day?
- The poll closes, and everyone who left an email gets the day with a calendar file.
