How to set it up

  1. Check the weeksIt starts with ten weeks from next Monday. Change how many to the length of your season, and take off any bye weeks.
  2. Say how it worksPut how to wash them and when to bring them back in the description. If the equipment bag goes too, add that.
  3. Send the linkShare it at the first game. “One sign-up each” is on, so the weeks spread around the team.
  4. Hand over after each gameEveryone can see the whole season, so the family with next week knows to take the bag.

What helps

  • Wash inside out in cold water and hang to dry. Heat lifts printed numbers and shrinks the fabric.
  • A mesh laundry bag keeps the set together and stops a sock going missing.
  • If you have more families than weeks, let two families share a week, or turn off “One sign-up each”.
  • A week has no time on it, so there's no calendar file. A reminder in the team chat after each game does the job.

Something to send with the link

Copy it into a text, an email or the group chat, change what you like, and paste your link at the end.

Questions people ask

Can families swap weeks?
Each family can change their own week from the link in their confirmation email, or on the same phone they signed up on, as long as the week they want is free.
Can I use it for the equipment bag as well?
Yes. Rename it, or add a second row for each week, like “Equipment bag”, before you make it.
Why isn't there a calendar file?
A calendar file needs a time, and a week doesn't have one. If you'd rather people got one, use the shifts layout instead, with each game's date and time.
